Loretta Cody, M.D.

I'm a board-certified pediatrician (and a mom of two grown sons) with over three decades of experience in children's health and parenting. I am here to help guide parents through the journey of raising children. I've been there! I've heard (and seen) it all! But, most of all, I understand!
I've worked in a pediatric group practice in Connecticut for over thirty years. I've watched children grow into adulthood and, in many cases, have even taken care of their children. Yet, nothing brings me more joy than being part of this ride and helping parents and their children in any way I can.

I strive to be clear, calming, and compassionate in my approach as a doctor and a mom. My goal is to share my wisdom in ways that will give parents complete peace of mind when needed and empower them with knowledge.

MY EXPERIENCE
Learning, Growing, and Teaching
I've always had a keen interest in math and science, so pursuing a career in medicine became my passion. My love of kids led me to specialize in pediatrics. After graduating from Barnard College, I attended New York Medical College, and then completed my pediatric residency at Yale New Haven Hospital before joining Children's Medical Group in Greenwich, CT.
Most recently, I was invited to serve as an adjunct instructor at Sacred Heart University to lecture on pediatrics for their Physician Assistant Studies program. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge of pediatrics with these students.
And since I'm frequently quoted in the media on many parenting and children's health topics, I can now reach a wider audience of parents with tips and advice to help them make more informed choices about their children's health, safety, and well-being.
